This winter with the colder temps, my rear hatch couldn't stay open, as the struts or shocks in the rear seemed to be failing early.

Obviously I am not the only one this is happening to, since those are now on backorder. Anyone else having the same issue?

Yes, got replacements from Rock Auto (OEM struts) for half price than anywhere else. Check it out
