So as some know here..I have decided to wait until 2019 for the hopeful great new shape as opposed to getting the 2017 version. I have a 2013 SL550 and done 40 thousand miles, warranty up 30th March 2017...I do about 10-12 thousand a year but no more....

I can't quite work out how they calculate the years(and I might be wrong) but the 6 year 75K..does this mean another 2 years from my warranty end? So say from April 1st 2017 I have another 2 years and have to be under 75 thousand miles?

Anyway, would appreciate those that understand these things please would you have a look at the coverage and tell me what you think and when would be the best time to take this out?

I know that these are basically just insurance policies and many think this is just an expensive add on but the Salesman assured me that MB would accept Lexus and once before I paid for coverage and sure enough had some major problems just after the normal warranty ended and saved myself a lot of money....




6 year 75000 = $2385
6 year 100000 = $3480
7 year 75000 = $3135
7 year 100000 = $4510
