SL/R231: Lowering a 2014 SL63

Lowering a 2014 SL63
Seems to be some conflicting information I am getting. A local shop says they are confident that it is hydraulic system where links or a module will lower the car. Others are saying conventional springs.
Any insight here ?

If your local shop says different, then they are clueless. Simple as that.

Yes! Sorry, I should have been more clear! I'm looking at a used 2014 SL63 and also considering leasing a brand new SL450.
I'm torn because the SL450 is on a huge discount and i like that it's brand new and I like to switch my cars often that it would be easy to get out of the SL450 with the lease payment I would have. Whereas the 63 is a bit more money and would be more difficult to get rid of as it's not a lease, or better yet not an incredibly low payment of a lease.
But the 63 turns my crank much more (obviously)
