Tire life on SL550

OK, I searched the site and can't seem to find anything dedicated to SL550s. How long should a set of tires last. I drive freeway and around town, about 50/50. Don't speed.I've been told no longer than 25,000 miles.
Additionally, are there types or brands which will last longer?
Model year is 2013.

Thanks

That is about what we got on the Continental run flats on our 2015. Changed them out for Brigestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position. Better ride, wear, mileage and handling. Did the same with our 2013 SL.
