2020 S560 Sedan, 2019 SL450, 2019 E450 Luxury Trim Wagon, '24 BMW I7 on order...
Much improved, especially the way the colors are depicted, but still not up to par with other MB "Build" sites worldwide.

FWIW, maybe because the Euro has gotten stronger this year, but my 2017 SL450 cost 1.5% less than a similarly equipped 2018. All prices based on MSRP.
Base price: 2017 $86,950, 2018 $88,200 - 1.4% increase.
designo Bamboo trim: no change, $1500.
Illuminated door sills: no change, $350. Note that the US site now has them properly listed at $350. The previous site had them at $500 or $515. (The new site has them listed twice -- the 2nd one at $515 is for a retrofit.)
Red seat belts: 2017 $300, 2018 $500. Note that before, the site and the DOG listed the red and the silver seat belts as available only for the AMG models, although you could get them for the non-AMG versions if you were persistent
Steering Wheel: the 2018 now has an AMG Nappa/DINAMICA sport steering wheel for $500. For 2017, it was an AMG option, although you may have been able to get it for non-AMG models.
Premium Package: no change, $5050.
Soft-close doors: no change, $450.
Driver Assistance Package: no change, $2250.
Note that if the Bengal Red / Black leather interior is selected, the photos still show a grey headliner. However, I believe that only a black headliner is available, as it was for MY2017.

Hmmm, my math may be off but here are the numbers:
2017: $86,950 + $1500 + $350 + $300 + $5050 + $450 + $2250 = $96,850
2018: $88,200 + $1500 + $350 + $500 + $5050 + $450 + $2250 = $98,300
2017 = 1.5% less than 2018
Note: I didn't include the $995 transportation charge, but that shouldn't change the %.
2017: $86,950 + $1500 + $350 + $300 + $5050 + $450 + $2250 = $96,850
2018: $88,200 + $1500 + $350 + $500 + $5050 + $450 + $2250 = $98,300

I find it odd that you can't get an SL63 or SL65 in white. Both the 450 & 550 have the option of Polar White or Metalic White but the AMG models show nothing.

I think MB figured that probably 90% of the SL63's & 65's are ordered in black, and that losing white wouldn't be a big deal. Really, they need to cut wherever they can, so they have money to engineer things like "light up stars" and "logo projectors," and so they can offer the G Wagens in just about every color under the sun. All that said, I'd just LOVE to see them turn down an order for a white SL65. Something tells me the order would go through without a hitch.

What do you want for $152k to $222K?
