Arm rests
Hello all,
Both of my door arm rests are wavy/disfigured. Has anyone else seen this, or does anyone know what may have caused this condition? I will probably be replacing them. Can someone please recommend a good salvage yard that specializes in SLs. I have the tan and brown interior.
Thank you,
Dale

Wonder if it is related to sunlight/heat exposure or just a poor batch of polymer? Maybe certain colors?

Special order car. R231. Fully dressed sans MBC. No explanation. Possibly subtropical UV rays. But, garage kept, used only as a city car by wife, hand washed weekly, polished and waxed biannually.

I have seen issues like that only on the W221 S-Class armrests/center rests.
