All SL450's disappeared from inventory?
I've been looking around at new SL450's, looking to see about a pull-ahead on my leased SL400 that expires soon.
In the last two days, *ALL* SL-450's have disappeared from the mbusa.com website. Doesn't matter what dealer or city or region, it always shows "no inventory". SL-550's seem to be listed as expected.
Did something happen to cause MB to pull SL-450's from inventory? I'd head they'd recently done that on the electric car model, putting a sales hold on all inventory.
Weird. Was kind of hoping a good deal on one would pop up at year end.

A few days ago I found a red with black interior on the mbusa.com website, it was in the Southern California area. I'm looking for red with a dark interior, which is very rare. It didn't seem to be on any particular dealer's lot, but all the dealers in So-Cal showed it as, "available on request". But it isn't in the list for Nor-Cal where I live. I think there are cars on lots and cars available within a region.
Then, a couple of days ago, there are no SL450's, listed anywhere on the MBUSA site. You can still go to each individual dealer and there are none to be found, even though, I know they exist.
It is either a glitch in their website, or MBUSA put a sales hold on them.

Good find! There's one in that list with titanium grey leather, which I have in my 15 and really like. Touched base with that dealer. It's a new 2017, but out of state. I guess we'll see what happens.
The search turned up the same problem I've found. Black leather is sort of the base, and many cars have procelain white, crystal grey or some other color with the base black trim and dealers either mis-list them or the search engines can't sort them out.
