I am considering for purchase a 2015 SL 550 White Arrow Edition with 11,800 miles. If purchased, it would be my first MB (formerly BMW). Would welcome any and all comments/suggestions/feedback/advice.

Just like any used vehicle I would get a copy of the service records to be sure everything was maintained. Also see if there are any records of repairs or any problems mechanically or to the body. Otherwise it is just a horse of a different color. Enjoy!

As Utopia said, just make sure it has been properly maintained and that the warranty is in good standing. You will absolutely LOVE the car! Fast, safe, very comfortable and very classy.

Hopefully, you're buying it through a MB dealer, and hopefully it's a CPO (certified pre-owned) vehicle. If that's the case, you should think about an extended warranty, as I'm sure your financial guy at the dealership will discuss with you. These cars are less mechanically bothersome than BMW's, from what I'm told, but they are German, and as such are still expensive to maintain. Best of luck with it, if you decide to go ahead with the purchase.
