Many YouTube videos out there (although not specifically a R231) - never done it on a MB but have on other cars. Generally, you pop it off the clips holding it (with trim tool or fingers) - watch out for wires if there is dimming and or heating, remove them and then ,reverse the procedure for the replacement. Suggest you look at one of the many videos available before you start.

Thanks rorywquin. I have looked at the videos and am not sure they have the one for my model.
