SL/R231: Command System on 2013 SL 550 goes dead

Command System on 2013 SL 550 goes dead
Yesterday I back my SL550 into the driveway and gave her a wash. When I started her up afterwards, the command screen was blank--no reverse camera, radio, nothing. moving the control knobs didn't change anything. Is there something obvious I'm missing? TIA for any thoughts/suggerstions.

This afternoon, I was backing the car out of the garage to take it to the shop to figure out what went wrong with the Command System. The screen lit up, the radio came on, all is fine. Who knows what Gremlin might have caused this? I drove it around and all stayed operational so I guess it was indeed some sort of Gremlin.
