SL63 Renntech vs SLR Roadster
2013 SL63-$60k, Renntech ECU+ Tune-$3k 669 hp 734 lb/ft, 4,068 lbs, .31 drag coefficient.
2008 SLR Roadster~$350k, 626 hp 545 lb/ft, 3850 lbs, .38.
R231 couldnt be as rigid as the SLR, but was a remarkable inprovement over the R230.
Isn’t this a good argument for the SLR experience for less than a 1/5th of the price?
missing: supercharger, side pipes, butterfly doors, McLaren, carbon fiber, exclusivity.

Depend on what you want. Decide for yourself and go for it. Both are beautiful cars with excellent performance.

I can't get myself to like the look of the SLR. The design is somewhat out of proportion and I feel the car has not managed to age gracefully....

The SLR is one of my fav cars of all time...............will they bring one back again?

Pricey but stable, a SLR roadster could be a nice addition...
