Bluetooth streaming question
I currently own a 2011 SL550 but am looking to upgrade to a 13+ in the coming month or two. In my 11 I had to buy a bluetooth adapter that plugs into the armrest to stream bluetooth music from my phone. Will the 13+ require an adapter as well or did MB finally figure out how to do both with a single bluetooth connection?

Yes, phones can be paired with the audio system just like most modern cars. Samsung Android in my case.
My '14, and assuming most 231's also are capable of Bluetooth streaming music from your phone. I did this easily. So if you have music stored on your phone, Pandora app, or like me the TuneIn app you can play these through the car's audio system with pretty good clarity. This, Sirius, CD, hard drive storage, Am, FM and even WB you shouldn't run out of things to listen to!

when I plug my phone into the center armrest to charge the audio system automatically switches to the music in my phone. even when I only want to charge it and prefer to listen to what I already have on, the first song is "American Girl" by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers so I usually let that play for a while....
