Brakes squeaking with Racing Brake pads
I have a 2014 SL550 with AMG package and 16K miles. I bought it in the fall and brakes were squeaking. After much review here, I bought front and rear Racing Brake pads but kept the original rotors, which are still in good condition. I didn't drive the car much over the winter, but have been driving it a lot lately as the weather has turned nice, and the squeaking has returned. I have tried hard braking several times. There are so many different posts here on how to eliminate brake squeal, I'm not sure what to try next. I don't want to pay for new rotors if that isn't likely to fix it, but am happy to do so if it does have good odds of fixing it. Not sure what to do next. It is hard to enjoy this car when every time I put my foot on the brakes I am anticipating annoying squealing.

Perhaps racing brake can respond to you but in general there is a risk of squeal when braking too soft or riding the brakes. Our 2017 SL550 had some annoying brake squeal on/off for the first several months of driving. Just don't expect to brake hard a couple of times and all is good. Keep on braking firm and it should solve itself.

Suggest you remove the pads and spray the back of each pad with PERMATEX DISC BRAKE QUIET or a similar product. Also, I'd take some coarse sand paper and score off the sheen of your rotors. I do these steps anytime I install new pads with good results.

I tried putting applying Liquimoly brake anti squeal paste on the pads. Helped a little for a week, then went back to the original squealing. New ceramic pads was the answer for me.

If the pads you bought are truly intended for the track, it's not a surprise you have squeak issues. Track pads have harder compounds, which are intended to operate at higher temperatures. Brake squeal is just high frequency vibration. As a general rule, the harder the pad, the more squeal issues you can expect. True race pads do not even work very well until they reach a certain temp. Buyers of higher performance Porsches who complain about brake squeal are told basically "tough nuts, it comes with the territory". Unless your SL will see the track, often, put on a set of O.E. style pads. This type of pad will work well over a broad temperature range and have a quieter operation.

I agree with the previous post. In general, pads suitable for the track do not perform well on the street. Noise and copious dust are common issues. I installed Power Stop Z23 carbon ceramic pads. Much less dust and no noise.
