Question For ABC Owners With Curve Function....
My 2019 is my second SL with ABC but first with the Curve function. Does you SL drive smoother, float more, on straight roads in CV mode over the C mode? I realize the purpose of the CV function is to tilt the SL on curves but to me it feels smoother on straight roads than the C mode. Is this just my imagination?

I can only really feel the difference (that it leans) on twisty roads. Haven't noticed more comfort on straight roads but as you have now piqued my interest I'll check it out. I don't really monitor my fuel consumption but it seems to go into sailing / freewheel mode quicker in CV mode.

I so absolutely LOVE the “Curve” setting in my 2018 S560 sedan with Magic Body Control and use it 100% of the time I drive that car. I just couldn’t wait for my 2019 SL450 with ABC, so I could experience the same feeling in a sporty convertible. However, I find that the way the “Curve” feature is set up to work with the transmission shift points in the SL, that I virtually never use it. In “Curve” mode, the transmission up shifts way too fast, IMO. So, I usually set it to the “Individual” setting. I almost never use “Sport” or “Sport+.”

Yea - it seems to short shift up to higher gears in CV. It is not something I've particularly watched but more of an intuitive thing. Just that little less responsive in CV vs C
