Hi rmorin49. I was able to get a very nice 1/18 scale Maisto model from https://www.diecastmodelswholesale.com and I was pleased that it was only $41, including tax and express shipping via USPS.
Since I have the Ginger Beige/Expresso Brown Nappa interior, I was disappointed that the model's interior was black. I'll consider painting it. I see that you have a red interior. The GT model that you see came to me in silver but I completely disassembled it to paint it blue to match my previous GTS's color. I've managed to obtain models of all my "special" vehicles that you see in the 2nd photo, including my 1st car, the MGB, my neon green Fiat X1/9, an AWD BMW 325iX and yellow M3, a CLS and the blue SLK55 AMG.
Are these preassembled diecast models? I am looking for a plastic model kit that has to be assembled. I have found several diecast models on eBay but nothing with a white exterior and red interior. Thanks for the post and photos. This is a nice collection.

I believe all of those in the photos are die-cast. The cost for the tooling to produce plastic model kits is off the charts and these days, the only contemporary cars the kit companies are willing to make the investment in, are “HOT” cars, lusted after by kids. Mustangs, Camaros, Ferrari’s, etc. Unfortunately, the R231 doesn’t fall into that category.

Yep. Diecast. Pretty much the only choice as others have suggested as far as I could find.
