SL/R231: Frustrated of UK
I bought this one new last year, March 2020. Kept me sane, and more importantly, our 18
yo daughter. Spent April to July last year doing essential journeys with the top down. Temperature is freezing here, which I know to some of you over the water will seem petty at -2c...but its surprising how the car stays warm with the top down.
Had many previous toys...mostly BMW M cars....finishing up with an M4 Competition Pack and a speeding ticket just before I swapped it. I had to grow up at some time.
My wife particularly likes the shade of blue. The last BMW was in San Marino Blue, an amazing colour. But then the colour offers from BMW are incredible.
My wife and I were going to drive to the Italian lakes last year while our daughter was on holiday but recent world events precluded that. Instead we managed to drive to Spain in The Range Rover with her and her boyfriend...anything for an easy life. So we'll see what happens this summer.
Best to all of you.
Germany, France, Spain, Italy etc. If you can drive around Sicily and Palermo without a problem you're ok elsewhere. You just adapt to local conditions..in Italy that means overtaking the car that's doing the overtaking.
Envy your climate...is it quite humid?

They have been coated with Gtechnic Wheel Armour, however nothing will ultimately stop stone chips breaking the lacquer coat. But that is more of an issue with a daily driver....ultimately if it goes bad a powder/paint coat is an alternative. But nothing like white worm has appeared on our previous cars The R Rovers wheels don’t have a lacquer coat....and my wife has never kerbed them!
