R231 Knowledge? Chime in please
Hey,
I was looking at random info on my 15 SL 400 and found out quite a bit via my Vin#, but a few things I either do not understand what Mercedes is talking about, or I am not 100% sure what they are talking about. The items in question are below. If you understand what it is exactly I would appreciate the feedback.

AMG 19" SPOKED WHEELS WITH MIXED TIRES (mixed??)
FUEL TANK WITH GREATER CAPACITY - VOLUME 2 (greater than what? Other non greater Sl's??
DSM STAR1 FBS4 REMOTE STARTABLE (I don't have remote start, so does this mean it can be added?)

2. The SL is available in 2 fuel tank sizes. The US gets the larger (optional) tank size by default.
3. This is option code J8A. Confused many people and the function is still unknown. Remote start can't be added unless as a 3rd party option.

Geez, I never thought about "mixed" could mean staggered. They could have just used the word staggered lol. Tank and J8A info is appreciated as well.

It looks like the only 2 things I don't have that would have been nice is the night view camera and the adjustable shocks. Funny the originally owner got a ton of other extras that I love, but passed on those two.

1. I assume that they mean staggered tires (all SL's have that)
