2015 SL400 R231
New to Forum ; Any help appreciated - what's in truck?

Greetings,

I just picked up a new to me 2015 SL400 - trying to recondition it since it's used.

Can't figure out how the trunk looked when new. I have a first aid kit and wheel lock box loose in the lower compartment moving side to side when driving. Can't be this way from the factory. But, I see a tow hook secured onto the trim piece.

Any photos will be appreciated!

Do you have a canister of tyre sealant, a compressor (unless run flat tyres are fitted) and a warning triangle?
Have you checked the Mercedes Vin Decoder... https://www.ilcats.ru/mercedes/?language=en

It has run flats so no sealant or compressor or warning triangle. I have the spec sheet but doesn't state. I was looking for someone with a photo of the OEM setup in the trunk. Thanks.

Warning triangle should be in the trunk lid in a black box. In case of breakdown.

No warning triangles in the US. They are omitted.

I don’t see the point of them. People rarely put them out and if they do, they are usually driven over by inattentive drivers.
