Riding on back of r231 for parade
My last car was a MB E350 cabriolet. It was perfect for parades and I was fortunate enough to drive my daughter when she was the homecoming queen. As you might imagine, I was inundated with calls to borrow my car, sometimes by complete strangers. I have not used my SL for this purpose since getting it last year but my doctor wants to borrow for his daughter, who's on the homecoming court this year.
I know it's not recommended for this purpose but has anyone done it? I've known the young lady since she was just a little kid and would love to help them out. Trying to find out if this is something you shouldn't do but can or if this is something you DO NOT do under any circumstances.
Thanks.

If you do loan it out be sure to warn them to not put any foot pressure on the sliding door to the center storage compartment behind the seats. It is very thin and easily breakable.
