key fob says low battery
My key fob yielded a low battery warning on the dash last week so I changed the battery and now it seems fine, no more warning. A month ago my wife could not open the door with her fob, so I replaced her battery and it appeared to remedy the issue. She drove the car today and called to tell me the low battery warning is on for her fob. When I had my Corvette, there was a special place in the glove box where you could place your fob in case the battery was low so you could still get the car started. I do not have the manual at home, it is in the car so cannot check. Does our car have a similar way to starting in the event the fob battery dies or gets weak?

My 2013 has Keyless everything and all but allows me to pull out the Start/Stop button on the dash so I can then insert the key. Maybe yours does, too? Good luck!

Thx but not what I am talking about. Mine is the same, starting the car no problem. The key fob locks the car but does not work when unlocking it so have to use the emergency key.

I might've been confused by your statement "When I had my Corvette, there was a special place in the glove box where you could place your fob in case the battery was low so you could still get the car started." :-(
