Schematic for R231?

Is there a schematic out there that shows where everything is located on the R231? I'm specifically looking for the Communication Emergency Call Teleaid Control Module is located but am curious about the rest of the car as well. Thanks!

I think you mean Star Finder. Not sure how reliable/safe this site is: http://benz.ehost.tj
but there's so many electrical items on these cars the Mercedes EPC is the best bet....
The part you're looking for is on a bracket between passenger compartment and trunk. #820 on bracket #800.

On the R230's it's between the Aux battery and storage compartment right in front of the trunk panel.

Good Luck

Thanks. That's about where we thought. We were hesitant to start tearing out the trunk liner material. I'll look for a video on that.

It may be in the passenger side, not trunk side. Hope that makes sense

Any thoughts on removing the trunk liner? We popped one fastener and it broke. We quit while we were behind.

Not sure which ones you’re working on, Here’s the trunk panels and clips. Some have a center that pops out and then you can loosen the clips. Others might be plugs. They are cheap,

They should be available, but better make sure…

This may help. It’s part N123/4 in the pic.
