De tinting

My new to me 550 has a really bad tint job so it's time to get the old film off and have a pro re-apply it. I'm using the steaming method. Any thoughts or warnings?

Why not just have the pro remove and re-apply?

I have no tint experience, but I agree with the lad above....would the price be too high for the installer you go to, to remove the current?

Used the steaming method with a personal clothes steamer. Very, very easy and safe. Saved about $200.
