Roof sequence stops just before boot closes
Hi All,
I have just bought a 2013 SL63. When I put the roof down it stops once the roof has lowered into the boot. I can still hear the pump running. If I release the button then pull it again the boot will close and the top lowering is succesful.
The roof also doesn't lift when i open the boot. When you open the boot it moves for 1/2 a second and then nothing happens.
I suspect both issues are linked and is likely a sensor/switch and I need to get it plugged into star.
Anyone else had this?
Sam

Best way to resolve this quickly is to read the stored codes with XENTRY. It should point to the micro switch responsible for the malfunction.
Good Luck!
