Best Radar Detector mount?

What's everybody using for their radar mount? I normally use a Blend Mount for my V1, but they don't make one for our cars. Is there a more elegant solution over the suction cup mount? Also, what are the 2 slits on top of the rearview mirror for?

We always ended up just using the suction mount cup and have the RD just sit above the clock. Mirror mounts would have somewhat interfered with the dashcam. Not the best but it worked...

Well, that's kind've what I thought. This way does make it inconvenient to wash the windshield, and on rare occasions, my suction cups let loose when parked in the FL heat. At least I can get my wiring out of the way, and that's the main thing.

Agreed. At least routing the wire is very easy and you can connect it to the light for the glove compartment.
