Good luck with State Farm. Can they provide comps in the surrounding area or are they pulling the number out of their butts? Remember, insurance companies are in business to NOT pay a penny more than they have to.

That said, USAA is one of the best, but has limited membership.

They went out 275 miles and found 8 comps to come up with their offer. Sending them a letter from local Mbz dealer General Sales Mgr stating current retail value at $41,500 along the comps I found outside their 100 mile limit and copies of receipts from the last 5-10k miles for repairs, tires, new front rim, etc. Hopefully they increase their offer some more.

I happen to get a quote from State Farm today. My current auto policy is up in a bit so I wanted to compare mine with a few others out there. Apples for apples state farm was $500 more than what I am currently paying. Guess I wont be switching over to them...
