Anyone with 30,000+ miles on an SL tune?
Hi:
I'm trying to see if anyone has a tune they've had on their car for 30,000+ miles.
I'm wanting more horsepower out of the SL450/SL550, but I'm less than convinced survivability is high.

I have close to 20,000 miles. Do you want more out of a SL450 or a SL550? I am more comfortable boosting the SL450 than I would the SL550, since they both use the same transmission (I think). A tune for the SL450 will get you 400+ hp, while the SL550 tune will push it close to 500hp. Stock SL550 is 435hp-455hp.
So, the way I figure it, a tuned SL400/SL450 has less torque and hp than the stock SL550, and therefore should be fine.
