SL/R231: Odor when starting car




The way to prevent this is to turn off a. The last few minutes of a drive to help the wet vents dry out.
obviously check your cabin filters…I like carbon replacements.




Try changing the cabin filter.
Also pop the hood and look around good to see if a mouse/rat, etc. is stuck in a corner, or down in a pocket someplace. It may smell once the car is warm because the dead body heats up etc.
