Remove Cluster Arch ???

Hi, I need to do some leather repair on my dash as the leather is sagging on the cluster "arch" and starting to partially block the view. Does anyone know how to remove the arch and does the entire cluster have to come out with it? I have not been able to find any directions or videos on removing that piece and I don't want to break anything.

2014 SL550 - Florida Car with leather starting to pull away from door panels which I repaired and now the dash is starting to have problems.

Thanks in advance for your consideration,
Regards,
Phil

Somewhere there is a long discussion about leather on the dash. You'll just have to search and maybe you can find someone that can answer your question. I'm pretty sure it is in this forum.

Thanks,

I saw a leather discussion, but it didn't address my challenge which is how to remove the dash piece over top of the instrument cluster, does anyone know if it just pulls off similar to the r230?

I have a 2013 SL550 Florida car with the same problems. I was able to repair all except this leather sagging down into the instrument cluster. Mine is starting to obscure the view of the gear information. It looks like the "arch" should come off, but from what I've read that's not the case. I'm hoping someone comes up with a relatively easy way to fix this.

Sorry haven’t been following this thread but, the cluster panel is relatively easy part to remove once you remove the cluster…
see attached WIS section
