SL/R231: Pre Safe Inoperative

Pre Safe Inoperative
Pre Safe Inoperative occurred yesterday when I was driving in a particularly heavy downpour between Baltimore and Frederick, Maryland. Once the rain passed and the road cleared a bit, the error messages disappeared and PRESAFE functions were restored. Doing some research today, it seems that this is a common issue when driving in conditions that hamper visibility and the function of the forward radars.
This has been covered in other sub-forums, but I thought I'd mention it here for folks who stick to looking at only their particular cars.
