Replace COMAND dial
Any tips on removing the wood trim in the center console by the shifter and the COMAND button on a 2012 sl550? I have seen videos on removing the trim by the dash and in the back by the arm rests, but not for the middle section. I want to replace the COMAND dial since it has a ripped top cover. I am not sure if I need to remove the trim by the dash first to expose screws or if the middle section can be detached independently? It seems like the finish on these buttons does not wear well. Thanks for your insight.
