SL/R231: Coat hook behind seat

Coat hook behind seat
Hi all,
The coat hook behind the passenger seat on my 2013 SL 550 broke. I'd like to replace it but it seems MB has discontinued it and I can't find it. The part is 231-913-16-00-1B88 porcelain white. Anyone got any ideas as to where I may be able to find it? If nothing else I may go beige and try to paint it so it doesn't stand out as bad but right now I just have a hole in the back of my seat. I tried MB Parts giant and they do not have them.

if you’re looking for the parts online, many of the dealer sites list parts as “discontinued”. But if you go to the dealer, may times they can order the part from Germany. The online catalogs changed sometime last year, and now some sites don’t even list many of the parts for various parts. Discontinued and back ordered appear to be interchangeable in the new sites. I’m betting the dealers complained about being undercut on pricing. The other option is obviously used, thru wreckers or eBay. I’ve seen the porcelain ones come up. But here’s a black one for about 10 bucks…

Thanks crconsulting! So I called the local dealer here and they looked it up and found 1 in Germany for $6, no shipping. I said 'yes please' lol. He said it could be wrong and they don't have it but he expedited the order as well (free of charge) to try to make sure it was pulled aside for me. Very nice of him to do even if they end up not having it.
