SL/R231: R231 Rear View Mirror Trim Removal ?

R231 Rear View Mirror Trim Removal ?
I'm installing a radar detector in my 2014 SL 550 and looking for any help on removing the trim pieces around the mirror so I can hard wire it. I know there are plenty of threads on radar detector installs, but my search didn't find anything directly related to the 231 mirror trim removal.
Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Not an SL, but I would think the process is similar.

@JettaRed Thank you for the link. I found that also and it helped with getting the trim pieces off around the mirror. @crconsulting Thanks again as usual for the WIS instructions on the removal of the panels. I'm sure this will come in handy soon.
I got the trim pieces off pretty easy. Just used a trim removal tool and they popped right off. I always have a big pucker factor when removing trim as I have broke a tab or two in the past.
