Is there a way to dim the instrument panel and Nav screen when driving at night?
On my 2019 450, there's a small, round shaft protruding directly under the speedometer that controls the brightness of the instrument panel and the Multimedia display. The map can also be switched to "night mode" via the map menu options.
If I remember correctly, the control under the speedo controls the ambient lighting as well.

As @hornethandler mentioned, there is a small knob that is obscured by the turn signal stalk, where you can adjust the instrument cluster brightness.
I am not sure it affects the COMAND display. For that, there are adjustments in the settings.
Additionally, you can set any number of features to activate by touching the Favorites button (Star button next to the shifter). If, for example, you want to activate the massage feature or display off/on feature, you assigned the Star button to the feature you want. The list of Favorites is found in the System settings.

The selected Favorite is activated by pressing the Star button.
