Nobody is signing NDA’s here and this is either published or internal sales info.

It’s quite common for dealers to make available incentives look like negotiated discounts and then markup finance/lease rates to get part of that back.

Bimmerpost does a nice job listing incentives/lease/finance rates in a sticky thread which will get updated as needed and others posting their deals…

Information is king…
I absolutely agree and had I been the one who received the memo from a dealer, I certainly would have posted it as well. I just don’t think MBUSA is thrilled about seeing the actual memo online.

TIA.
Just do a Google search. Type in Mercedes Conquest. Here are examples of two.

I received this in my inbox today from my dealership regarding the Conquest dollars program for the 2020 SLs. I can't believe that the offer is good until the end of June 2023. One would think the 2022s would be gone by then.

SL65(R231), SL65(R230), 600SL, 560SL(86), 560SL(89),250SL(68),250SL(67), 190SL, 300SL(GW)
The speculation that the R232 is a winner has been settled. The MB management apparently all attended CLOWN COLLEGE. The logical demographic to market your evolved product are owners of the previous generations, I find it highly unlikely that the aforementioned consumers were even remotely considered. The design issues like the worthless rear seats, lack of interior and exterior colors, the black, black or black A pillar, no AM radio, etc and myriad electrical flaws demonstrate lack of real consumer input and concerns. The punctuated initial introduction and the continued fumbles for the 2023 frustrate the clients that I'm certain will further depress sales.

Perhaps MB is too busy in the pursuit of the EV market ( the wonderful wokes) to worry about the SL??. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last of the SL line. This is a toy, not a vital acquisition, I'd fire the entire team.

Lack of AM radio? I needed that a hundred years ago
I also find the amount of electrical flaws annoying although they are likely software flaws vs. actual electrical flaws. The whole options/supply shortage discussion is an issue but not isolated to the car or even make. And the recent history of the SL has been far from perfect; people quickly forget... The R230 has been a lovely car but deeply flawed car in terms of tech. The things that broke on these cars were definitely not software fixable. The R231 on the other hand was literally one of the most reliable MB models I can recall but was anything but pretty when launched. Took some getting used to until the facelift version improved it.
The R232 is definitely a much better looking car. If more options/colors/software fixes come this year, it will be a winner IMO.

Good news is the SL has been already confirmed for the MANUFAKTUR program.
