Communications Module update
FYI, when driving my 2022 SL63 today, a message popped up on the central display notifying me of a software update to the communications module. I connected the car to my home wi-fi and went to the Software Update menu. The update description says that it will take about 5 minutes in the background, will activate at the next ignition sequence, and will enable future OTA updates and improve overall stability.
Let's see what happens....

I had that too awhile ago. After it downloaded, I believe it explained that download will help when they later download other things. If you see something else worthwhile, please advise.

My car has been in the shop for the last week. I received a message on the app that the updated was downloaded and installed today. I guess that also means the 12V battery is okay despite the communication with the app, OTA updates with the mothership, and lack of driving this past week.

While looking for info on a 2024 "Communications Module" update that just came through for my 2024 GLC300, I came across info on the 2023 update that may be useful to members who were seeking info on this 2023 update.
