I have heard mixed opinions about a golf bag fitting in the trunk of the new SL.

Here is what I found:
I was able to fit my loaded full size cart bag with irons, putter and hybrids plus golf shoes in the trunk without a problem (even with the top down). However, my driver and 3 wood were too long for the trunk but did fit in the back seat.

Why do you carry your golf clubs around? I just leave them at the club and the caddy puts them in the cart when I am ready to play.

I guess everyone with the new SL that golfs must belong to a private country golf club?
You are right of course, I do

But sometimes my foursome plays at reciprocating country clubs in the area and then I need to transport my clubs in my car.

I would likely use my Tesla for that (giant trunk) but good to know that I could manage it in the SL if needed.
