Just purchased a 2022 SL 63 and noticed the model I have does not have a closable truck portion. Instead it is fix (no button on trunk lid either) . Anyone know why the difference?
You have to choose the option to have the ability to raise the partition (powered) and it also adds a 12v port in the trunk. It was several hundred $ option so I didnt choose it.
What exactly is that 'trunk cargo organizer'? Any pics or very clear description. Ordered an SL yesterday and explanation/ description was weak at best. Hence, I didn't order it. Any help?
What this does is that there is an additional button on the trunk lid that when pressed it will increase the space under the area where the convertible top folds when rooftop is open. This is useful only when rooftop is closed and it allows you to put a carry on luggage there as well.
In your picture the top side in the trunk that is fabric is replaced with a piece of plastic that will fold.
