CarPlay problems solved!!!
I had continuous problems w CarPlay. About half the time it either wouldn’t connect („waiting for CarPlay“) or disconnect during play, etc etc
Fix is I deleted the phone, bought an wireless CarPlay adaptor on Amazon WQQBFF ($59) connect to USB-C under the armrest and the device shows up as a phone.
Connected my iPhone to that and since then PERFECT and connects really fast.

An interesting solution. There is a bulletin about the connectivity problems which my service advisor showed me. The bulletin says that it is usually caused by being close to an area that is giving out a strong wireless signal....like construction zones on the highway - that sort of thing. And that is usually when I get disconnected....going by a large road construction site near me. I can predict it. Good to see you've found a solution. The service advisor gave me a copy of the bulletin. I just ordered the same device!

I am returning my adaptor. Not as many connectivity problems but sometimes It doesn't want to connect at all - and will still disconnect sometimes....not as bad as the original system - but almost now.
