SL/R232: Will high end options impact resale values?

Will high end options impact resale values?
Today I took a look at pre-owned 2022 AMG SL63’s.
Soecifically I looked for vehicles with Carbon Ceramic Brakes, High End Burmeister and Carbon exteriors.
MSRP for 63 SL’s ranged from $ 175 to $ 215.
Yet, I could not see meaningful differences in prices based on options.
Am I seeing this all wrong?

for example a vehicle without carbon interior will receive a significant discount.
but to be fair options are also hugely expensive, maybe that is the difference.

Having owned 7 Ferraris (6 purchased new) I might partially disagree with you here. There are certain MUST have options such as the carbon fiber steering wheel with LEDs and the Scuderia shields, the absence of which will kill value on the secondary market, but I never found after that the options brought me much on resale. Then again, I put miles on my cars which is what killed me when it was time for resale.

I think that more significant that what high-end options are on any MB for sale, is what options are missing. I've noticed that several R232 SL63s advertised for sale do not have the Drivers Package which includes Distronic. IMO, any SL without this option will suffer a price downgrade, whether new or used.
