Fuel Pump recall on 143,000 MB SL are included
I just found out it's not an air bag recall it's a fuel pump issue. There is no remedy for it, at least that's what MB is saying??

They won't fix it until you get the notice, the notice comes to you depending on when you purchased the vehicle. My 2022 was purchased Nov 23 they told me maybe May. not happy about that.

Can’t speak to your situation but a couple of times I have brought my car in for some issue or service and they have looked up the VIN number and seen that there is a recall of some sort or another or a service campaign and have done the work. This is before I had received any notice in the mail.

You can go to the NHTSA website for all the details. This is basically just an expansion of the prior fuel pump recall on a bunch of MBs. If your car already had the fuel pump replaced then you likely are good and don’t need it done again.

Again, check out the website for more details. It says that there has not been any crashes or injuries associated with this defect.
