Do you think the Mythos will come with complimentary trickle charger or can we really go crazy and hope that you will not need to double lock and keep the key 40 ft away?

It will most likely need a double trickle charger!
I still keep mine on it and at least I dont get anymore critical battery messages. One I also dont do anynmore is check the status through the app. I think that activates some type of self-destruct program that starts a battery drain

The name Mythos will not be an asset to the vehicle’s popularity or customer satisfaction.
You heard it here first!

Definition of Mythos:
"Mythos" now more commonly refers to its Aristotelian sense as a "plot point" or to a body of interconnected myths or stories, especially those belonging to a particular religious or cultural tradition.

Well, MB needs to improve quality of existing models to get interest to 'mythos' I have no interest to even look at it.

it's for those who find Maybach not luxurious enough. If that's what you're looking for, you may not be able to buy one even if you can afford it

There is very little I see from MB that gives me confidence that this " marketing tag line has any hope of becoming reality"
One of my favorite sayings, commonly referred to as Jurgenism is " vision without implementation is a halluzination" which in this case would be right on the money.

Mercedes-Benz mythos.... once long ago there was a car brand called Mercedes-Benz. Then in 2024, at the very start of the EV revolution, they did some rethinking... and the rest is automotive legend.

Looking at pics of older Mercedes-Benzes on these forums makes me wonder WTF happened? Looks like I'm not the only one wondering:

Just what MB needs, yet another product line! If everything was hunky dory with their current offerings, why not? Unfortunately, most all of their vehicles that were new models for 2021 & later are suffering from significant issues, that they have failed to remedy, even from one model year to the next. Instead of launching a new line, they need to take a few steps BACK, figure out their mistakes, COMPLETELY fix all of them and then look to future models.

Lol - so now these dudes (MB) are doing a collaboration to build a luxury high rise. Give me a break and fix your crap cars first. Just another brand slapping their name on anything to make a buck. Only thing that might be considered MB like I'm sure will be the unnecessary gadgets, gimmicks and tech in this eyesore of a building.

I don’t get it either, but they’re not alone in this space.

No more MB:(
Yes. It’s bad enough in everyday sedans, but in a sporting convertible, it is just ridiculous. Would it have killed them to keep the SL just a bit more traditional, with a few more knobs, buttons & switches that one could use while not taking their eyes off the road? There were times in my S580, driving with the roof closed, when the sun glare from the center stack screen damn near blinded me. So the one in the SL tilts. Thanks but no thanks. Sometimes, the old way is better.
