Tons of heat from under dash on passenger side of car.

I have a 2022 SL63. The car has been basically trouble-free but I have recently had multiple passengers tell me it feels like the heat is turned on for the passenger side of the car. Even when the passenger air vents on the dash are blowing cold air, a ton of very hot air is coming from below the dash on the passenger side. The inside of the glovebox is literally cooking. (This only seems to happen when the top is down. When the top is up, you no longer feel hot air blowing out from under the dash.) Anyone else have this issue? I found one other person on the R232 FB group who has the same issue, but so far his dealer has said no problem is found. My car is going into the dealer on Monday.

I took some temperature reading this afternoon. On the driver side I got 99, 107, and 111 degrees. On the passenger side the readings were 139, 141, and 142. Inside the glovebox the temperature was 188 degrees!

Living in Palm Beach Florida, the last thing I need is extra heat inside the car. It’s already insanely hot outside without the added heat.

It happens to me too, I thought it was normal due to the power of the engine itself, which causes a little heat to creep in.

Seems way out of range to me. However, I have no database to draw on, but it just seems way out of range. This is worth a trip to the dealer at some point. And you have more than just peoples opinions you have actual temperature readings.
