Active Aero Status Indicator
Hey guys,
I have a question if anyone here knows how to decipher the little icon in the top right corner of the driver display indicating the active aero status. There seems to be 3 distinct color changing parts of it. The front turn to red when the front splitter/spoiler deploys. The rear spoiler goes from blue to yellow to red depending on the status of the rear spoiler. Then there’s the color of the line under the rear tire going from blue to red.
I’ve scoured the internet and gone through the manual back and forth and can’t get a clear answer. My car is equipped with the aerodynamics package and I’m just curious if there’s an official explanation of all the states the car can be in and what triggers. I’ve noticed different speeds trigger different color changes depending on the driving mode, like Sport vs Sport Plus. I’ve also noticed when I come to stop at a red light when I’m in Sport Plus the rear spoiler remains yellow. I obviously can’t tell from the rearview mirror its status since I can only see it deployed when fully extended which has only happened when parked and I push the manual spoiler extension button. I believe you’re meant to be going well into triple digit speed for that to be fully deployed.
Anyways wondering if anyone here knows or has been curious about this before.
