SL/R232: EZ Pass Transponder

EZ Pass Transponder
Does anyone have advice on where to place the toll transponder on the windshield on a '25 SL so that it doesn't interfere with anything. I do not have the integrated toll system which I had on my S class which was great ! Thanks

It's the same as in all other models. If you have a normal windshield without metallic coating for heat insulation, then you can put it anywhere. I've always put my toll transponders up high to the right of the rear view mirror. If you have a coated windshield, then there are two areas w/o coating. One is up top to the right of the rear view mirror where I have my toll transponder, and the other one is in the bottom left corner on the driver side. They are indicated in the owner's manual and you can see them if you look through the windshield with the right angle.

Thanks for the feedback.
There are 2 wires imbedded in the windshield that run right up to the mirror which is why I’m asking. Don’t know if the ‘25 model is different from yours.

I have a 22 but I see a number of wires running through the windshield. Including at the top, but it hasn't impacted anything. So far, so good.
