Digital Lights Activation. Nice addtion.
I recently activated my digital lights which are disabled in the US by default. I've activated ILS+ on other Mercedes and while this is the same but with extras like putting icons on the road, I must say it's worth it for the digital high beam function alone. I will say the only icon I've seen shown on the ground when driving is the warning indicator if I'm drifting out of my lane or I hit my turn signal to switch lanes and there's a car there, I get an audible warning, flashing light on mirror but now also a flashing triangle on the road on the side to which I'm drifting or another car is in my blind spot.
I've also seen it created an AMG logo at night with a Mercedes logo in front of me on my neighbor's truck when pulling out of my garage. Oddly, I haven't seen that happen since. Not sure if it's selective about how dark it is, or what. But more often than not I get a dancing headlight animation when starting the car at night. The logo was very cool and so clear. Granted that's not new to the activation of the digital light extras.
Almost forgot, I've always had traffic sign assist. But now it warns me (randomly) when approaching a red light or about to blow through a yellow light. When approaching a crosswalk it warns me to look out for pedestrians. I'm a very attentive driver so I'm not sure any of this is a real benefit, but still pretty neat.

You should also see a big "arrow wedge thing" on the road when you activate the turn signal while self-driving is on. It will project on the road and then change lanes automatically. For these features to be on, you should see a green low beam indicator AND a white high beam indicator in the bottom left of your gauge cluster. I have noticed the white "high beam" gets turned off sometimes, and with it off, it won't do any of those enhancements. Make sure high beam is on and it should work.

Thanks, oh it works just fine. I also keep the auto high beam on. I definitely see the triangle/wedge. I never tried to let the car do a lane change on its own. But, if I tried to switch lanes when a car is in my blind spot or drift into another lane the wedge/triangle flashes on the street. It's pretty cool, but I was hoping for more road animations.

How did you activate the Digital lights?
How did you go about? Activating the digital light function? I have a 26SL 55 on order and would like to activate digital lights but not sure how to go about doing it or what software I would need.
