high idle on 280 slc

My 1973 280 SLC has always idleing fantastically and never gave me any problem. I own her for about 20 years.
I drive her 3 or 4 times per year and last time was in October when she was serviced (oils, filters etc) and then kept in the garage.
Yesterday, I took her for a drive and when I start the engine everything looks fine but slowly, when engine gets to normal temperature the RPM are going higher and higher and she idles on +- 2.500 - 3.000 RPM.
Even so, she drives fine but spends a lot of petrol.
Will you please help me and give me an idea from where to start looking?
