hello forum, new member, recently purchased 74 450sl with 84500 mi, couldnit pass it up...never owned a mercedes..i am impressed with the car
it is indeed built like a panzer tank..very solid and heavy..has some cold start
time lag..needs to run at 180 temp. think i have a slight hum in the rear?other than that the car is show room.. any comments? thanks :

What did you pay?
Just curious, what'd you pay, where'd you shop and what's the condition? I'm trying to sell my '76 and want advice. I love my car and it's really clean, but too many toys.

and i enjoy the drive...need to remove the hardtop for summer......and add a
cd player with some good speakers...bye the way have u had trouble with the passenger door locking mechanism...?? TC
