I recommend you navigate to ourSL.com and have a look at Sl's for sale... You can get a rough idea there. High teens (US dollars)are not out of the question... Even low 20's is possible, depending on state of tune. Low mileage does not necessarily mean good condition. Rubber rots and seals harden. Valve guides get brittle, all which are conditions of Time, not necessarily mileage.
The shame is, at these low miles, someone got cheated out of a lot of enjoyment from this automobile.

That`s interesting. In the UK a low mileage 86-89 R107 in good condition and complete service records would retail for $40,000. A very, very special 300SL with only 350 miles on the clock, regularly serviced, fluids changed and new tyres fitted but NEVER registered has just sold for $70,000+
