I have a beautiful '86 560sl in excellent condition, but I am perplexed by one thing...the seat appear to be from an '84 or '85 Sl instead of an '86! There has been no indication of any damages, theft or intentional changes to the car, and I have spoken with the owners from 1990 until the present. None have noticed the difference, and nobody can say why this is the case...

I also have a freind with an "85 380sl that has the correct seats for an '86... but his interior is too good to swap seats with mine. Has anyone noticed this type of occurance in the past?

Anyway, I'd love to locate a correct set of seat frames for my car if anyone has a reasonable set- and I plan to buy new leather seat covers anyway since mine have some wear on the edges & some cracks... any help would be appreciated!
