Won't run right when warm

Hey guys. I've got an '82 380SL. The car will start when it is cold and runs pretty well, although it does idle a little rough and high at times. After the engine is warmed up it still runs fine. But once you turn the engine off and try to restart it, even a few hours later when it has cooled off, it wont idle at all. I have to keep my foot on the accelerator just to keep it running. Otherwise it seems to run normal, everything above 800RPMs seems fine. What could be causing this? Thanks, Parker
